Top Star Awards for NA Moon-hee, LEE Jung-hyun, CHOI Min-shik and Hyun-bin

Winners of the 6th Korean Film Actors Association Awards



During their 6th annual ceremony, the Korean Film Actors Association gave their Top Star honors to NA Moon-hee of I Can Speak, LEE Jung-hyun for her part in The Battleship Island, Heart Blackened lead actor CHOI Min-shik, and Hyun-bin for his roles in Confidential Assignment and The Swindlers. The ceremony was held at Seoul Dragon City on December 28th.

A Taxi Driver director JANG Hun took home the Best Director prize while Best New Director went to KANG Yun-sung of THE OUTLAWS. The supporting actor prizes went to CHOI Gwi-hwa, who appeared in both A Taxi Driver and THE OUTLAWS, and LEE Ha-neui of Heart Blackened and The Bros.

Popular Star Awards were also conferred on THE OUTLAWS’ villain YOON Kye-sang, Midnight Runners lead PARK Seo-jun, The Bros’ co-star LEE Dong-hwi, Nana of The Swindlers, and The Battleship Island’s KIM Su-an.

Meanwhile, the Top Singer Award went to BAEK Ji-young, LEE Kwang-soo took the Entertainer Award and baseball player YANG Hyun-jong took the Sports Star Award. Finally, a lifetime achievement award went to actor LEE Duk-hwa, who received Best Actor prizes from the Grand Bell Awards, for Lost Love (1989), Fly High, Run Far (1991) and I Will Survive (1993).
