In 2013, KIM made his feature film debut, with a small part in YIM Soon-rye’s drama <Southbound>. Throughout the rest of the year he also appeared in small parts in the surveillance thriller <Cold Eyes> and romantic comedy <Queen of the Night>, before landing a bigger supporting role in the JEON Do-yeon led drama <Way Back Home>. In 2014, he appeared in the gambling sequel <Tazza-The Hidden Card> and the runway romcom <Fashion King> and also took part in his first TV show, the period drama-thriller <Gunman in Joseon>. The next year brought with it a small part in the hit cop thriller <Veteran> and also gave him his breakout roles, as the best friend in the high-concept drama <The Beauty Inside> and the smash TV series <Reply 1988>. Later in the year he also had a comic supporting turn in musical period drama <The Sound of a Flower>. 2016 saw him appear in the North Korea-themed investigation thriller <Cooperation> and the thriller <One Line>. On the small screen he took on the role of Turtle in the main cast of <Entourage>, the Korean remake of the hit tinseltown-set HBO series of the same name.
