Restorations of MEMORIES OR MURDER, NOWHERE TO HIDE, SAVE THE GREEN PLANET in NY
‘Relentless Invention: New Korean Cinema, 1996–2003’, a new program being jointly staged by Film at Lincoln Center and Subway Cinema, in association with the Korean Cultural Center New York, will present a broad array of Korean classics to viewers in New York from November 22 to December 4 this year.
The program, which includes seven new 4K restorations, will shine a light on the dynamic modern age of the Korean film industry. From arthouse favorites to genre-bending commercial works, the retrospective will present a total of 21 modern Korean works to New York audiences.
