Azooma has won its sixth award at an international film festival.
Azooma received the First Prize in the Feature Narrative section at the Athens International Film and Video Festival in Athens, Ohio of the U.S. on April 12th.
Azooma received the Best Actress Award from the Dirctors' Guild of Korea at last year's
Busan International Film Festival and since then it has won awards at the Costa Rica International Film Festival, Nevada International Film Festival, Beloit International Film Festival, Irvine International Film Festival and it has now got the highest honor at the Athens International Film Festival.
The Athens International Film Festival is a 40-year-old event focusing on independent cinema. It gives out awards to films with a strong sense of experimentalism as well as documentaries and animations and awards are given to the top three in each category.
Azooma is the debut feature of director LEE Ji-seung who was the producer director
