KOFIC funded BAN-JAK-BAN-JAK DOO-GEUN-DOO-GEUN as Opening Film
The Barrier-free Film Festival aims to make the film-going experience for the hearing and visually impaired to be as enjoyable as anyone else. With using the smartphone technology, the barrier-free application can be downloaded which will identify the time code from the soundtrack of a film and will sync the application to provide the information the viewer needs to watch the film.
Director KIM Tae-kyun’s short film funded by the Korean Film Council (KOFIC), Ban-jak-ban-jak Doo-geun-doo-geun (hereinafter referred to as “Ban-jak”) will be the opening night film. Ban-jak is about a visually impaired child named On-yoo and her father Yoon, and hearing impaired Eun-su and Joon-woo as they watch a drive-in film. The film casts HAN Sang-jin, KIM Su-an, LEE Chung-ah and PARK Bo-geom.
The Barrier-free Film Festival supported by the Korean Film Council and organized by the Korean Barrier-free Film Commission and the Korean Film Archive will run from November 13th to the 16th at the Korean Film Archive.
