Bom Film Productions is a production company founded in 1999 by OH Jung-wan, a producer recognized for her important contribution to the development of the Korean film industry. The studio was particularly active in the early 2000s, working with some of the most prominent film directors of the time such as KIM Jee-won on <The Foul King> (2000), <A Tale of Two Sisters> (2003) and <A Bittersweet Life> (2004), and HONG Sang-soo on <Woman on the Beach> (2006) and <Night And Day> (2008). It also became a breeding ground for talented producers, having counted among its ranks LEE Eugene and AHN Soo-hyun who would later establish their own production companies, respectively Zip Cinema and Caper Film. After JO Kwang-hee took the reins of the company in 2006, Bom Film has worked mostly with director LEE Yoon-ki and released <My Dear Enemy> (2008), <Come Rain, Come Shine> (2011) and <A Man and A Woman> (2015). Among its latest release is KIM Tae-yong’s <WONDERLAND> (2020).
