In March 2018, NOH Dong-seok’s thriller Golden Slumber, starring GANG Dong-won, was released in Singapore. The distribution rights to this thriller film have been sold since last year to many territories, including Cambodia, India, Hong Kong, Philippines, Brunei, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, and Malaysia by CJ E&M.

Clover Films oversaw the distribution of the film in Singapore and released it on March 8th. Following its opening, actor GANG attended an exclusive fan meeting for the promotion of the film in the city-state. He had already visited Singapore in 2017 to promote crime action movie Master (2016) with his co-star KIM Woo-bin. However, this thriller comedy didn’t live up to expectations since a lot of blockbusters from Hollywood (like Tomb Raider and Peter Rabbit) or from China (including Monster Hunt 2 and Detective Chinatown 2) were released during the same period. Meanwhile, Golden Slumber premiered in Los Angeles on February 15th and was released nationwide in the United States on February 23rd. In Australia, it has been distributed and released by JNJ Entertainment on March 1st.
