- EXO’s D.O. to Play WITH GOD

- Joins HA Jung-woo and CHA Tae-hyun in Big-Budget Fantasy
DOH Kyung-soo (aka D.O.), a member of the popular K-pop group EXO, has signed on to play opposite HA Jung-woo and CHA Tae-hyun in the upcoming fantasy film With God. KIM Yong-hwa is taking the reigns for the project, which will be presented as a two-part feature.Based on a webtoon of the same name by JU Ho-min, With God follows 49 days and seven trials that take place in the afterlife when an angel of death becomes involved in human affairs. In addition to The Yellow Sea (2010) star HA and My Sassy Girl (2001) lead CHA, the film, which reportedly carries a KRW 10 billion (USD 9 million) budget, will also feature JU Ji-hoon (The Treacherous, 2015) and Don LEE (aka MA Dong-seok) of the forthcoming summer blockbuster TRAIN TO BUSAN. Director KIM previously made the hits 200 Pounds Beauty (2006) and Take Off (2009).
DOH, who will play Lance Corporal WON in the film, got his big screen start in 2014’s Toronto-invited drama Cart. Earlier this year he appeared in the romance drama UNFORGETTABLE and will feature alongside JO Jung-suk and PARK Shin-hye in Brother later this year.
Filming for With God, which will be financed and distributed by Lotte Entertainment and produced by Realies Pictures (Masquerade, 2012), is expected to get underway before the end of June.
