- SON Ye-jin and SO Ji-sub Come Together for Melodrama BE WITH YOU

- GO Chang-seok Co-Stars in Japanese Novel AdaptationStars SON Ye-jin and SO Ji-sub will team up for the first time in the upcoming melodrama Be With You (working title). Based on the Japanese novel Now, I Am Coming to See You by writer ICHIKAWA Takuji, the project will mark the feature directing debut of LEE Jang-hoon.SO will play a man whose wife (SON) promises to meet him and their son again on a rainy day a year later before she dies. When the time comes, she does indeed return but she has lost all of her memories. The story will also focus on the couple during their high school years.Model and TV drama star SO was last seen in RYOO Seung-wan’s big-budget The Battleship Island. His other major movie credits include Rough Cut (2008) and A Company Man (2013). SON is coming off of a big 2016, which saw her both experience commercial success with HUR Jin-ho’s The Last Princess and critical acclaim with LEE Kyoung-mi’s The Truth Beneath. She is currently filming the thriller Negotiation alongside Hyun-bin.New actor KIM Ji-hwan will play their son while KIM Hyeon-soo (Familyhood, 2016) and LEE You-jin (Derailed, 2016) will play the younger versions of SON and SO’s characters. Character actor GO Chang-seok (The Con Artists, 2014) is also on board.While a shooting schedule has yet to be announced, distributor Lotte Entertainment aims to release the film at some point next year.
