Hong Sangsoo's Latest Ranked 4th by Legendary French Movie Mag

HONG Sangsoo's In Another Country has taken the 4th spot in the annual top ten list of the renowned film magazine, 'Cahiers du Cinema'. The magazine announced its top ten films of 2012 on November 21st, In Another Country is the only Korean film that made the cut.

The film was HONG's 8th to make it to the competition section of the Cannes International Film Festival and it drew a lot of attention as a result of HONG's collaboration with the globally renowned French actress Isabelle HUPPERT. The number one spot went to Leos CARAX's Holy Motors followed by David CRONENBERG's Cosmopolis and Francis Ford COPPOLA's Twixt. 6 out of the ten films were from the U.S. so HONG's inclusion in is a firm indication of his renown in the global film industry.
