Local Indie MISS BAEK Posts Strong Debut

Showbox title has now brought in a strong 2.83 million viewers (USD 22.05 million).
Slipping a heftier 57% as it lost its hold on the first rank was the Marvel title Venom, which added 493,000 entries (USD 3.93 million). The Sony production has taken in 3.25 million spectators (USD 25.4 million) over the course of its 12-day run.

Opening in fourth place was the critically acclaimed musical drama remake A Star Is Born, following its recent premiere at the Venice International Film Festival. The film opened with 87,000 sales (USD 703,000) and has recorded 153,000 admissions (USD 1.21 million) since its Tuesday opening.
Down two spots to fifth place was the Chuseok hit
The Great Battle 72,000 new viewers (USD 549,000). The siege action epic as so far brought in 5.35 million spectators (USD 40.44 million).
