Confirmed Its Release on October 7 in the U.S.

Project Wolf Hunting has been pre-sold to 41 countries around the world, including Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Russia, India, the United States, and Japan. It is also attracting attention from Germany, France, Brazil, Argentina, and the United Kingdom. Especially overseas sales of Project Wolf Hunting are expected to continue after the World Premiere screening at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival.

Moviecloud, a Taiwanese distributor, also said, "We are very looking forward to Project Wolf Hunting, and the constant action and conspiracy will give Taiwanese audiences a fantastic experience." A Contracorriente Films, a Spanish distributor, said, "We have discovered a new pearl in the fantasy genre," adding, "The film will have great success worldwide following Train to Busan and Peninsula. 

Project Wolf Hunting is a hard-boiled survival action that puts the characters in an extreme situation that you have never seen before while a group of heinous criminals is being transported from the Pacific Ocean to Korea. Director Kim Hongsun, who made films such as Metamorphosis, The Con Artists, and Traffickers, wrote and directed the film. Actors such as Seo Inguk, Jang Dongyun, Choi Gwihwa, Sung Dongil, Park Hosan, Jung Somin, Go Changseok, and Jang Yeongnam appear in the film. The film is drawing attention early on as it has been invited to the Midnight Madness section at the Toronto International Film Festival for the first time after The Host.
