Lotte Entertainment has announced its intention to develop the Korean version of Mexican comedy hit Instructions Not Included. The Korean studio will partner with an outfit affiliated with Lionsgate, Globalgate Entertainment, currently preparing several localized versions of the title. Released in 2013, this modestly-budgeted family comedy about a playboy whose lovechild winds up on his doorstep one day, grossed over USD 100 million worldwide.

During the Busan International Film Festival, the company behind the Along with the Gods series revealed its 2019 lineup which is headed by the currently in production martial arts/occult hybrid movie The Divine Fury. Featuring PARK Seo-jun and veteran star AHN Sung-ki, the project is the latest work from Midnight Runners (2017)'s director Jason KIM.

Additionally, the company is preparing several sequels to former hit titles, including a follow-up to the SON Ye-jin-led period swashbuckler The Pirates (2014) from THE ACCIDENTAL DETECTIVE (2015)'s director KIM Joung-hoon, and a third Tazza, following Tazza: The High Rollers (2006) and Tazza-The Hidden Card (2014). Titled Tazza: One-Eyed Jacks, the threequel will be directed by KWON Oh-kwang (Collective Invention, 2015) and is set to star PARK Jung-min (Keys to the Heart).

Also in the works are the trial drama The Witness with JUNG Woo-sung and KIM Hyang-gi, the Colonial Era drama MAL-MO-E: The Secret Mission and Astronomy, a new period drama from The Last Princess (2016) director HUR Jin-ho.
