Lotte Cinema Hosts 'Hallyu Stars in Chinese Films' Event

Program to Take Place at Silk Road Theater Venue



A Special exhibition is being held to honor Korean stars LEE Joon-gi, KWON Sang-woo, CHU Ja-hyeon, SON Ye-jin and JI Jin-hee for their appearances in Chinese cinema.

Lotte Cinema announced it would host the special program “Hallyu Stars in Chinese Films” during the month of November. The event features the screening of five films over the course of the month at Lotte’s Silk Road Theater. Located in the Lotte World Tower in Seoul, the Silk Road Theater is a special venue created by Lotte Cinema that is dedicated to exclusively showing Chinese films.

The program’s lineup includes LEE Joon-gi’s first Chinese feature film, the romantic melodrama Never Said Goodbye (2017) which also stars popular Chinese actress Zhou Dongyu, actress CHU Ja-hyeon’s action noir The Game Changer which also features former EXO band member TAO (Haung Zitao), Bad Guys Always Die (2016) which stars SON Ye-jin and CHEN Bolin, Jackie CHAN’s action comedy 12 Chinese Zodiac Heads (2013) which features KWON Sang-woo and crime thriller Helios (2015) which includes JI Jin-hee among its star-studded cast.
