JK Film Thriller Co-Stars KIM Joo-hyuk, YOO Hae-jin, Yoon-a

CJ Entertainment, shooting came to an end in Seoul for the upcoming thriller
Cooperation on July 14th. Featuring superstar
Hyun-bin, the film is the latest project from blockbuster production house
JK Film and features director
KIM Sung-hoon at the helm. Shooting lasted four months.
In the story, Hyun-bin plays a North Korean detective who is sent over to South Korea to catch the boss of a North Korean refugee crime organization, who is played by
KIM Joo-hyuk. South of the border, he teams up with
YOO Hae-jin’s South Korean detective for a historic moment of cooperation. The film also features popular K-pop star
Yoon-a of Girls’ Generation.
Hyun-bin’s last film was the hit period thriller
The Fatal Encounter (2014), prior to which he completed his military service. He will next appear in the con artist thriller
Kkun (Korean title) alongside
YOO Ji-tae, which is expected to begin production soon.
JK Film, the outfit of producer and director
JK YOUN, has been responsible for a string of big-budget hits, including the disaster film
Haeundae (2009), the epic melodrama
Ode to My Father (2014) and last winter’s expedition drama
The Himalayas. Director KIM debuted in 2013 with the musical drama
A Wonderful Moment.
CJ Entertainment expects to release the film at the end of the year.
