Born in 1987, LEE Min-ho is an actor, singer and model who started appearing in TV shows in 2002, though he initially harbored ambitions to become a football player, and eventually rose to prominence after appearing in the TV series <Boys Over Flowers>, which netted him a number of newcomer awards. His popularity soared even further when he appeared in the hugely popular show <City Hunter> in 2011. LEE’s first film roles were supporting parts in the high school film <Our School’s ET> and the action-thriller threequel <Public Enemy Returns>, both in 2008. Another massive TV hit came in 2013, when he appeared in <The Heirs>, alongside new star KIM Woo-bin. Not only a star in Korea, LEE became one of the biggest stars across Asia, as one of the leading faces of the Korean Wave. In 2014, he became the first Korean celebrity to appear on the Chinese Lunar New Year TV program "CCTV New Year's Gala”. Despite his busy career, LEE also took time to study Film & Art at Konkuk University. He next took on his first leading role in a feature film in YOO Ha’s highly anticipated thriller <Gangnam Blues>, the third film in his gangster trilogy. LEE received plaudits for his turn as an up-and-coming gangster in 1970s Seoul and the film quickly screened internationally, buttressed by LEE’s enormous popularity overseas.
