Lee Hyun-jung studied mythology and theology in university. Her Experimental documentary focused on mythology of Korean Tradition and feminism, The Virgin Forest successfully presented at Torino and Edinburgh Film Festival. In her second feature, Echo of dragon she explored dragon, one of the most important symbols in both western and eastern civilization, within contemporary frame. Echo of dragon was invited to Korean Competition section of 14th Jeonju IFF. In 2015, LEE returned to Jeonju when she was invited to make on the festival’s signature feature-length Jeonju Cinema Projects. The experimental <Night Song> went on to screen at the Cinequest Film Festival in 2016.
