Born in 1983 in Seoul, director HUR studied animated film at the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA). His feature debut film ON THE WHITE PLANET won Grand Prix Award at the Holland Animation Film Festival in 2015. GALAPAGOS is his third short animated film. He is currently working on his second feature animated film with a working title PIGS THAT SURVIVED FOOT-AND-MOUTH DISEASE."
