JU Ji-hoon was first recognized because of his good looks and sophisticated image. While modeling, he made his drama debut with <Princess Hours> and since then, he has appeared in <The Devil>, <The Naked Kitchen>, <Antique> and become famous. Ji-hoon became a hallyu star in the dramas <Princess Hours> and <The Devil>, which were big hits in Japan and China. In 2010, he went to serve in the military after being involved in drugs. He was also featured in the musical commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Korean War <The Voyage of Life>. JU headlined the modest summer period comedy <I am the King> in 2012 before later joining the cast of 2013’s ensemble melodrama <Marriage Blue>. 2014 turned out to be quite a year for JU, as he appeared in his first Chinese production <Love Suspicion>, a melodrama/thriller about two sisters who fall for one man, and surprised many with his memorable turn in <Confession>, a mid-level drama-thriller about childhood friends who find themselves at difficult crossroads in adulthood that drew little expectations before its release. Next up for JU was the erotic period thriller <The Treacherous> alongside KIM Gang-woo in 2015. Keeping up with his recent one-film-per-year pace, JU next appeared in the big-budget thriller <Asura> with JUNG Woo-sung the following year, with the fantasy blockbuster <With God> lined up for 2017.
