Since making her debut in 2003, through the dramas <The Great King Sejong> as Princess Shim (later Queen So-Heon) and as Princess Hyea-Myung in the drama <Goong> we can see that LEE Yon-Ji’s roles have generally been tranquil. In 2009, through a reality program where celebrities get “married” <We Got Married>, she gained popularity by showing the audience she was a very straight-forward and honest individual. However, in the 2010 play <Proof> she showed a new charismatic image which was nothing like her previous work and in 2011, through the drama <Dream High>, her role as a talented high school teacher at an Arts high school gave her another new image, thus expanding her acting spectrum to another level. Through <Couples>; a film that was released in November 2011, she made a successful debut on the big screen.
