He is a renowned star in the field of plays and independent films. He won the special actor award given by the judges at the Mise-en-Scene Short Film Festival. He has also appeared in the dramas <White Tower> and <The Time of Dogs and Wolves> increasing his popularity. Whichever role he takes, he has the skill to make it his own. In the drama <Dream High> he played BAE Suzy’s dad, and in <My Princess> he was KIM Tae-hee’s father. He is now recognized by many spectators across different age groups.
