He first took part in MIN Kyu-dong’s romantic omnibus <All for Love> (2005) before joining the team of the 2006 hit caper thriller <Tazza: The High Rollers> from CHOI Dong-hoon. A year later he made the short film <Twins>, which screened at various international film festivals and in 2008 he was back on a big film set as part of the 2nd Unit team for <A Man Who Was Superman>. MUN added another feather to his cap when he was charged with the dramatization of the 2012 SONG Sae-byeok comedy <Mr. XXX-Kisser> and then he finally graduated to the feature director chair with the 2015 mental institute comedy-drama <Shoot Me in the Heart>, featuring young stars LEE Min-ki and YEO Jin-gu.
