With her slim, flexible figure, KIM Hyo-jin first made her debut as a model. Her first foray into the movie industry was in the role of a specter in <The Legend Of The Evil Lake>(2003). Her adeptness at doing action scenes suspended on wires won applause from the Chinese martial arts crew members. In the romantic comedy <Everybody Has Secrets> in which she costarred with [LEE Byung-hun], she played a jazz vocalist and showed off her singing ability. In the slapstick comedy <Mr. Wacky>, she played a babe in the woods often teased by students. <Five Senses of Eros> gave her a totally different image. In this film, she played a bedroom scene as a homosexual, establishing herself as an adult star. Following that, she played Ji-woo, who fell in love with a female pickpocket, in the movie <Ashamed>. She has always attracted lots of attention from the public not only as an actress but also as fashionista. KIM’s next film was IM Sang-soo’s intense drama <The Taste of Money>, which competed at the Cannes International Film Festival in 2012. She was next seen as a sleuthing reporter in the Japan-Korea co-production <Genome Hazard>.
