She got a perfect body shape, unconventional, beautiful look, and a decent enough singing and dancing ability. She earned major attention for her debut film <When Romance Meets Destiny>, where she played Kyong-jae, an alluring lady tantalizing Kwangtae ([BONG Tae-kyu]), a ladies’ man. She received acclaim as a “ready-made rookie star” by successfully depicting an urbane, innocent young lady in the film. She threw herself into her next role as Hanna / Jenny with abandon. In a role of a lifetime in <200 Pounds Beauty>, she had to wear the 200-pound latex fat suit on her wafer-thin body to play Hanna, who underwent an extreme cosmetic surgery makeover and became a pop sensation playing “Jenny.” Playing the role of adorable Hanna and Jenny in the film, KIM sang and danced her way to become one of the future leading ladies of the Korean film industry. Following a long absence, KIM returned to the screen as a leading lady in the popular romantic comedy <Watcha Wearin'> in late 2012, alongside JI Sung.
