His physicality has landed him a number of parts as villains in films such as <No Mercy for the Rude> (2006), <A Love> (2007) and <Hindsight> (2011). Following his success on the small screen he has also taken on some romantic roles in cinema, such as in the erotic period thriller <The Concubine> and the romantic comedy <Wedding Scandal>, both 2012. In his spare time he also performs as a club DJ under the moniker DJ Vesper MJ. In December 2012 he announced that he would be taking an indefinite break from his acting career. However, it wasn’t long before he was back before cameras, playing a romantic lead in the low-budget <Wedding Scandal> and then performing in <Top Star>, the directorial debut of veteran actor PARK Joong-hoon, both in 2013.Less
