Mun-seong struggles with his own finance problem, and with his son Do-jin who refuses to live as he wants. Upon hearing his father Gwang-deok is dying, Mun-seong goes to his hometown Gunsan for the first time in 30 years. 20 years ago, Gwang-deok was kidnapped to North Korea and falsely charged for espionage, and it left incurable wounds not only to him but to the family. Mun-seong wanders around the small city seeing the traces of his own father, however, he fails to reconcile with his father until he passes away. Gwang-deok’s death brings Mun-seong and his son Do-jin together, another chance to reconcile, but Do-jin is unable to reconcile with his father either.
