Up-and-coming director KIM Kyung-mook’s <Stateless Things>, a recipient of KOFIC’s Independent Film Production Support fund and also its Diversity Film Distribution Support program, was screened in competition at the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) in early October. Kim received a Special Mention at the 2006 VIFF for his feature debut <Faceless Things>.

<Stateless Things>, which debuted at this year’s Venice Film Festival, then screened in the 55th BFI London Film Festival’s World Cinema sectionalongside HONG Sang-soo’s <The Day He Arrives>.
