Director Kwak Jae-yong announced his next project at the 16th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) alongside Chinese star FAN Bing Bing and Korean actor ON Ju-wan.

<Yang Gui Fei>, based on the life of the famous Tang Dynasty consort who was known as one of the Four Beauties of ancient China, will be a Korea-China co-production with a budget of approximately US$15 million. Kwak is best known for the popular romantic comedy <My Sassy Girl>. The film will also feature CHOW Yun-fat.
