Choon-sub (Park Yong-woo) is a talent manager in South Korea. When his premiere client runs away to America with a rival manager, Choon-sub decides to pursue her. While searching for her there, he gets into visa trouble and decides to enter a contract marriage in order to obtain a green card. When his wife suddenly dies, he is left with her six children. He soon discovers that the eldest, Joon (Ko Ah-ra), is an amazing singer and decides his new mission is to make her a star.
Director Han Ji-seung made his feature debut in 1996 with <Ghost Mama>. He has since directed <A Day> (2000) and <Venus and Mars> (2007), among others. In 2006 he also directed the Korean television series <Alone in Love>.
