A love story that unravels unlike any other tale of romance, this film offers a unique emotional range to the audience. By giving a twist in its narrative structure, December attempts to convey emotion by confusing the audience with subtitles introducing January, February, March, etc. that are chronologically reshuffled, and relationships intertwining in a complex manner.

Praised as an ‘extraordinary film cinematically orchestrated from an original narrative,‘ which received a Grand Prize in the Korean Competition during last year’s Jeonju International Film Festival, December went on to be recognized at various festivals including Taoyuan and Göteborg International Film Festivals. The filmmaker PARK Jeong-hoon, who studied visual design, has directed a number of TV commercials and music videos. December is his feature debut film.
