The world's only Asian animation film festival, Seoul Indie-AniFest 2022, announced some of its screenings would be available offline as well as online. Seoul Indie-AniFest 2022, which marks its 18th anniversary this year, will screen its films online and offline simultaneously this year following last year.
Independent Walk, the Korean Competition section, will screen 20 films at the online theater, including The House of Loss (Directed by Jeon Jinkyu) and AMEN A MAN (Directed by Kim Kyoungbae), while First Flight, the Student Competition section, will screen 23 films, including Apartment (Directed by Lee Jui) and Hair That You Love (Directed by Lee Sanghwa). In addition, Korea Panorama, the Out of Competition section, will screen 8 films. All of the films mentioned above are available for paid viewing at ‘Vimeo On Demand.’ Meanwhile, ‘Web Animation,’ the Korean Web Animation Competition section, will screen all of its 14 films free of charge.
The online screening is from September 23 to October 7 until 5 p.m. and is available around the world. Ticket prices are $1 per film and $20 for the entire package. Only ‘Rental’ streaming is possible, and you can watch the movie only for the first 24 hours after you pay for it. If you purchase the entire package, you can watch the films within 7 days after payment.
Seoul Indie-AniFest 2022, which celebrates its 18th anniversary this year, will be held in CGV Yeonnam from September 22 to September 27.
