Korean Sales Agents Boasts 8 New Titles in BIFF Lineup

PARK Jung-min stars as a washed up rapper who returns to his hometown where he meets
KIM Go-eun, a childhood acquaintance. The youth comedy-drama was picked by The Korea Daily (the United States), Klockworx (Japan), Jetsen Huashi Wangju Culture Media (China), Movie Cloud (Taiwan) and
CJ ENM (Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand).
Other reported sales included two acclaimed films from last year’s BIFF.
KIM Ui-seok’s
After My Death sold to Capricci in France and Astro, which will handle the film in Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
JEON Go-woon’s
Microhabitat was bought by MATV (Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam) as well as Time-In-Portrait Entertainment and GEE, which will handle its internet and in-flight rights, respectively.
