PARK Hae-soo Studies Up for QUANTUM PHYSICS

DERAILED Director LEE Seong-tae Returns

Artist agency BH Entertainment has revealed that PARK Hae-soo has been cast in the upcoming film Quantum Physics (working title). The project will mark the second directorial feature of Derailed (2016) helmer LEE Seong-tae.

In the project, PARK will take on the role of LEE Chan-woo, a character described as the Steve JOBS of the sex world who is capable of speaking any Korean dialect. Obsessed with Quantum Physics, Chan-woo believes that, if the world’s energy can be harnessed, anything is possible.

PARK’s previous roles include supporting parts in films such as the fraud thriller Master (2016) and the court drama The Unfair (2015). He has also appeared in several major TV dramas. The actor is currently filming Time of the Hunt (translated title), the sophomore work of Bleak Night (2011) director YOON Sung-hyun, with co-stars LEE Je-hoon, PARK Jung-min, AHN Jae-hong and CHOI Woo-shik. Quantum Physics will mark the rising actor’s first leading role in a motion picture.

Director LEE’s debut Derailed, which debuted at the Busan International Film Festival, featured Shinee member Min-ho as a delinquent youth who winds up going head-to-head with a character played by Don LEE (aka MA Dong-seok) when a quick money-making scheme goes wrong.
