Actor Appears to Have Another Bright Year on the Horizon in 2018
Following his success with
TRAIN TO BUSAN in 2016 and
THE OUTLAWS in 2017, actor
Don LEE has just been confirmed for another action film, titled
Raging Bull. His agency,
DayDream Entertainment, announced on the 15th that
Don LEE was cast in director KIM Min-ho’s debut film,
Raging Bull, as the lead actor.
Raging Bull is about a man who sets off to fight barehanded against vicious villains with his friends to rescue his wife.
Don LEE’s performance in
TRAIN TO BUSAN, in which portrayed a devoted husband who protected his wife, was highly praised and it looks like his character in
Raging Bull will expand on that concept. The film is currently casting for the role of the wife.

Don LEE worked with new director
KANG Yun-sung for
THE OUTLAWS, which was able to sell 6.87 million tickets, and earlier this year he was confirmed to play the lead role in a film led by another rookie director,
 LIM Jin-sun, titled
Gomtaengi (working title). As
Raging Bull is another debut feature, it is receiving a lot of attention. Directors
KANG Yun-sung,
LIM Jin-sun and KIM Min-ho are all close friends of
Don LEE. The actor is said to have participated in the scriptwriting process as well as the planning, development and production of these three films. In 2018 summer,
Don LEE will be on the screen for part two of
Along With the Gods as a new lead, and will also star in
JO Won-hee’s
Wonderful Ghost and
KIM Yong-wan’s
Champion.
