Korean Sales Companies Busy on the Croisette
 
Korean foreign sales outfits are out in force at the Marché du Film, taking place alongside the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. Among them,
 9ers Entertainment, which is handling Cannes midnight selection 
Office, has picked up rights to a pair of new titles, and
 M-Line Distribution scored a raft of sales on their upcoming high concept comedy 
Wonderful Nightmare.
In addition to Office, 9ers picked in international rights to 
KIM Sang-jin’s new comedy 
Three Summer Night, featuring three men, played by 
KIM Dong-wook, 
LIM Won-hee and
 SON Ho-jun, on a rambunctious weekend getaway to Busan, and KIM Whi’s upcoming supernatural horror 
The Chosen: Forbidden Cave, featuring 
KIM Sung-kyun as a psychologist investigating a mother (
YOO Sun) and daughter who appear to be possessed.
Armed with the star wattage of 
UHM Jeong-hwa and 
SONG Seung-heon, M-Line’s 
Wonderful Nightmare (known as 
Miss Wife in Korea) secured sales to markets such as Australia (Cine Asia), The Philippines (Viva Communications) and Myanmar (Mega Movie Technology), while Emphasis bought inflight rights. The film, which tells of a successful lawyer who dies and comes back as a housewife, will bow domestically in July. Also on M-Line’s slate are
 IM Sang-soo’s Fox International Productions title 
Intimate Enemies with 
RYOO Seung-bum, the action comedy 
Untouchable Lawmen, featuring 
IM Chang-jung and
 Daniel CHOI, and the medical horror 
The Black Hand.
