Osaka Asian Film Festival Welcomes Four Korean Titles
 
Actress 
YOON Jin-seo, who starred in 
Santa Barbara and 
Gyeong-ju, last year has been invited to the Osaka Asian Film Festival with her latest film 
Heartbreak Hotel. But her attendance at the festival is not just as a guest star as she will also be participating as part of the International Competition Jury, which will also include filmmaker PANG Ho-cheung and Japanese actress TAKEDA Rina. 
 
Heartbreak Hotel which was shot exclusively in the US and is about a man who by chance saves the boss of a gang and starts working under him. He falls in love with a jazz singer at a bar, but circumstances drive him to give up all he has. This is a return to features for the lead actor 
KANG Ji-hwan who showed great promise in 
Rough Cut (2008) and 
My Girlfriend is an Agent (2009). YOON Jin-seo plays the jazz singer that KANG falls in love with. The film is programmed in the Special Screening section as a world premiere, and is to be released domestically in Korea on March 19th.
 
 
On top of 
Heartbreak Hotel, three other Korean films were also invited to the festival. 
Ode to My Father, which has had a very successful run at the Korean box office and recently went to Berlin, will now go to Japan as the festival’s closing film. In the Special Program called “Action! Southeast Asia”, Korean-Vietnam co-production film 
Let Hoi Decide will screen. In the Indie Forum section is the Korean-Japanese co-production called
 Brakemode. This film is about a Japanese automobile company that goes to Busan on business.
 
The Osaka Asian Film Festival will be held from March 6th until the 15th.
