Family Drama to Start Filming in April

Actress NA Moon-hee will star in The Little Princess (translated title). “NA signed on to star in The Little Princess because she liked a scenario with good story lines and attractive characters,” said the production company Zio Films. The upcoming drama portrays the loving relationship between a grandmother and her two granddaughters. It will be directed by HUH In-moo, who has written and directed Little Black Dress (2011), Herb (2007) and Love, So Divine (2004). The Little Princess has already been offered to sell the remake rights from China and will begin shooting in April next year.

NA Moon-hee most recently showed the power of her 56-year acting career by playing the role of former comfort woman NA Ok-boon in I Can Speak, which was released last September. The human drama was a hit both critically and commercially, luring over 3.2 million moviegoers. NA received best actress prizes from The Seoul Awards, Korean Association of Film Critics Awards, Blue Dragon Film Awards, Director’s Cut Awards and Korean Film Producers Association Awards. Moreover, she picked up trophies from the Amnesty International Media Awards and the Women in Film Korea Awards in 2017. It was the first time NA won the best actress award since making her debut in 1961. NA is currently appearing in JTBC’s Monday and Tuesday drama Just Between Lovers, and is waiting for the release of Love+Stling which recently finished filming.
