JUNG Woo-sung and
 ZO In-sung are set to appear in new thriller 
The King, the fourth directorial outing of 
HAN Jae-rim. The tale will follow a lawyer (ZO In-sung) who uses a colleague and gang connections to get ahead. JUNG Woo-sung is on board to play ZO’s senior.
 
 
ZO, who hasn’t been seen on the big screen since 
YOO Ha’s 
A Frozen Flower in 2008, first confirmed his participation back in May last year. JUNG, appearing in this week’s new release 
Remember you and who has a few more projects coming up, including big-budget thriller 
Asura directed by 
KIM Sung-soo and featuring 
HWANG Jung-min, joined the cast at the beginning of this year. Meanwhile, director HAN is coming off the commercial and critical success of period drama 
The Face Reader (2013), with 
SONG Kang-ho.
 
 
ZO, JUNG and director HAN are all familiar with the gangster genre, with ZO having appeared in 
A Dirty Carnival (2006), JUNG in 90s classic 
Beat (1997) and HAN having helmed the crime flick 
The Show Must Go On (2007), also with SONG Kang-ho. 
 
 
A search is currently underway for the role of the wife of ZO’s character and for the rest of the cast. Filming is expected to get underway towards the end of the month. The film will be produced by HAN Jae-rim’s shingle 
WOOJOO FILM, which was behind last year’s 
ROH Deok thriller
