LEE Hyeon-jong Film Out December 12

A production press conference for Catch Me(a Sonet Entertainment & Sim Entertainment production) starring TV star JOO Won (S.I.U.(2011), and Don’t Click) and KIM A-Joong of 200 Pounds Beauty(2006) and Whatcha Wearin was held on Nov. 18th.  Director LEE Hyeon-jong and both stars attended the press conference.

Catch Me began from the simple question, “What would my first love that I met 10 years ago be doing now?” explained director LEE of his feature. Unfortunately, the  yearning couple in the film turns out to be the cool-headed and talented profiler Ho-tae (played by JOO Won) and legendary thief Jin-sook (played by KIM A-Joong). There is no time for journeying down the tender moments of memory lane for them as they end up in a cat-and-mouse chase. The director added “I set up the couple’s occupations as criminal profiler and grand thief in order to make their rendez-vous more dramatic.”

Returning to the screen following last year’s Whatcha Wearin, KIM A-Joong introduced her latest project as “a story of two people in totally opposite situations falling in love.” As for JOO Won, who began his career as a musical actor and moved up to stardom with TV dramas Bridal Mask, 7th Grade Civil Servant and Good Doctor, this is his first shot at a romantic comedy. “I leaned a lot on KIM A-joong who has extensive experience in romantic comedies” commented JOO. Distributed by Lotte Shopping Lotte Entertainment Co., Ltd, Catch Me will be released on December 12th.
