Born in 1991, JUNG Hye-sung first appeared in the TV series <Friend, Our Legend> (2009), a remake of the crime drama classic film <Friend> from KWAK Kyung-taek. After a supporting part in TV drama series <Pride and Prejudice> (2014) that introduced her to a larger audience, her popularity rose dramatically with her supporting role in popular period drama series <Love in the Moonlight> (2016). She joined the reality TV show <We Got Married> later that year as the make-believe wife of GONG Myung, a member of K-pop group 5urprise, which brought her to larger recognition. It was also in 2016 that she landed her first big screen role, in the indie romantic drama <Mate> (2017). The next year saw her promoted to main cast with TV series <Good Manager and Manhole>, and she even received her first lead role in <Oh, The Mysterious>.
