KWAK Min-gyu is a film graduate of Konkuk University who first played in short films. In the film, KWAK played a young DJ who works as a food deliveryman by day and whose only wish is to get a regular job. Also in 2018, he starred in the indie <A Midday Picnic> (2018). 2019 saw KWAK earn his first accolades, first from the Jeonju International Film Festival for <The Boy From Nowhere> (2019), and later when he was named Best New Actor by the Korean Association of Film Critics for <Move the Grave> (2019).
