PARK Gyu-young, born in 1993, was studying clothing and textiles at Yonsei University when one day she was street-cast while doing a photoshoot for an art book on street fashion and ended up featured on the cover of a student magazine, College Tomorrow. Soon after, she was contacted by major talent agency JYP Entertainment and offered a chance to become an acting trainee. PARK appeared in a music video for solo singer Jo Kwon and a few web dramas but made her official debut in the TV rom-com series <Hey Ghost, Let’s Fight> (2016). She moved to the big screen in 2016 when she starred in <WRETCHES>, taking on the challenge of interpreting two different roles, but since the film was eventually released in 2018, it was with a bit part in <Heart Blackened> (2017) that she could first be seen in cinemas. She followed it up with a supporting role in the comedy <LOVE+SLING> (2018). She is best known for starring in the drama series <Solomon’s Perjury> (2016-2017) and <It’s Okay to Not Be Okay> (2020).
