CHOI’s personality caught the attention of director YOON Ga-eun, who cast her as the main protagonist of <The World of Us> (2016), which would have a spectacular festival run around the world with a stop at the Berlinale. Among the long list of awards the film received, CHOI managed to claim a few for herself, winning Best Child Actor in a Feature Film for Children at the International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Zlín, Czech Republic, as well as Best Actor at the Youngabout Film Festival in Bologna, Italy.
