Known by his stage name D.O. as part of the popular K-pop boyband EXO, DOH Kyung-soo was born in 1993 and was recruited by SM Entertainment in 2010. Following a successful run with EXO and solo singing work, DOH made his acting debut in the well-receive social strike drama <Cart> (2014) by BOO Ji-young, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Playing the hard-working son of a mother who gets laid off from her grocery store job, DOH was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 9th Asian Film Awards. He next appeared in the SBS series <It's Okay, That's Love> (2014). The pop star then played his first leading role in a film, in the melodrama <UNFORGETTABLE> (2015), before appearing alongside PARK Shin-hye and JO Jung-suk in the drama <MY ANNOYING BROTHER> (2016). DOH was next seen in the two-part movie <Along with the Gods> (2017), which brought him to the notice of a wider audience. He was next chosen by director KANG Hyoung-chul, who earned a reputation for casting promising talents, to play the lead role in his much-expected next film <Swing Kids> (2018), a role that involved several tap-dancing numbers. In 2019, DOH announced he was enlisting for his mandatory military service, thus putting his career on hold for the next two years.
