JIN Se-yun, born in 1994 and a graduate of Chungang’s University’s Theatre and Film Department, kicked off her career in 2010 when she appeared in a music video and the SBS drama <It's Okay, Daddy's Girl> as a supporting player before graduating to the main cast for the drama <My Daughter the Flower>, which earned her the New Star Award from the SBS Drama Awards, as well as the horror film <White>. In her spare time, JIN is also an amateur piano player, having begun taking lessons when she was just six years old. She was afforded a chance to show off her musical skills in the 2012 TV drama <Five Fingers>. More awards and nominations followed when she appeared in the KBS show <Bridal Mask>. In 2012 she had a guest appearance in the variety show <Running Man> and then debuted on the stage in <Closer> the following year. She then headlined the Korea-Japan co-produced romantic drama <The Language of Love> in 2014. That year she received the Popular Star Award from the APAN Star Awards for her part in <Doctor Stranger>. She followed this up by starring in the commercial romantic comedy <Enemies-in-Law> in 2015, a sequel to the 2011 hit <Meet the In-Laws>. In 2016 she appeared in her biggest film to date, the Korean War epic <Operation Chromite>, with Liam Neeson, which opened in the summer of 2016.
