He made his official debut in 2014 with a supporting role in thriller film <The Target> (2014) and later starred in <NO TOMORROW> (2016). After receiving his first lead role in a TV series in 2019 was a particularly busy year for Lee as he appeared in <Strangers from Hell>, a television series adaptation of a popular horror webtoon, in the comedy <SECRET ZOO> (2020), as well as in the zombie film <#ALIVE> (2020), the first box office success in Korea after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. He was next seen in a number of TV series, most notable among them the satirical thriller drama series <Mine> (2021). He came back to the big screen in early 2022 with <The Policeman’s Lineage> (2022).
