As part of this fight-choreography team, he debuted with <TaeGukGi: Brotherhood Of War> (2004) and would specialize himself in horse riding. After many years working on many other projects for TV and theaters, including RYOO Seung-wan’s <Arahan> (2004), KIM Jee-woon’s <The Good, The Bad, And The Weird> (2008), NA Hong-jin’s <Yellow Sea> (2010), YEON Sang-ho’s <TRAIN TO BUSAN> (2016) and BONG Joon-ho’s <Okja> (2017), he was credited for the first time as a fight choreographer in LEE Joon-ik’s <DONGJU; The Portrait of A Poet> (2015). It is however for the realistic fight sequences of the second film he choreographed, crime action thriller <THE OUTLAWS> (2017), that he gained wide recognition and later won the Technical Achievement Award (shared with HEO Myeong-hoeng) from the Korean Film Producers’ Association.
