Following a few more shows, including <3 Days> (2014), PARK took on his first leading role in a film in the highly anticipated <Haemoo>, a dark maritime thriller which was produced and co-written by BONG Joon-ho. His big screen role drew praise in many quarters and earned him Best New Actor awards from the Blue Dragon, Grand Bell and Korean Association of Film Critics Awards. He was next cast alongside SUL Kyung-gu and KO Soo in the techno thriller <Lucid Dream> in 2015.
