He left a strong impression in the movie <Death Bell 2: Bloody Camp>, which is the second in the series, by taking on the role of JK, who suffers the most vivid death. The revelation that he is in fact the son of famed director IM Kwon-taek became a big issue in 2011. That same year he appeared in the movie <Hanji>, directed by his father. He is currently planning to appear on screen as a variety of characters in the near future. His first leading role in a film came in 2012, when he headlined the comedy about zombie filmmaking <Let Me Out>. The film was a festival hit and secured a theatrical release in the United States. He also featured in supporting roles for the films <Don’t Cry Mommy> and <The Tower>.
