After working as First Assistant Director on <Wide Awake> (2007), LEE Jong-seok debuted as a director in 2011 with <The Kick>. He then served as First Assistant Director to JK YOUN on <Ode to My Father > (2014), one of the highest grossing film ever in Korea. His collaboration with JK YOUN eventually led him to make his sophomore feature, as the latter’s studio JK Film produced <THE NEGOTIATION> (2018), with SON Ye-jin and Hyun Bin.
